Don’t say Waterworld, say Drywired!!

Welcome to Waterworld…no no!! Welcome to  DRYWIRED’s world!!!

Our friends at Drywired came for the first time to Mobile World Congress 2013 in Barcelona,  a very last minute decision, so we had to work really fast to ensure they got the outstanding design they deserved!!

We created a liquid world where magic existed, a place where your device could join you in your liquid travel with no danger for its electronic heart..why? Because it was Drywired space!!

Drywired™ is a Los Angeles based technology firm and the leading licensee of a revolutionary European protective nano-coating technology.

Our designer Maria Jesus planned to build the highest walls allowed (6 m height), giving the feeling of depth and immensity, using a dark blue canvas to get the ocean atmosphere, I think we got it!!

It was a pleasure dealing with Samantha the weeks before the show started, sometimes you find people that makes your life easier, and there are no doubts that Samantha is one of these! It was great to meet you, Felipe and all your team here in Barcelona, and we hope to see you next year again!!

EIP visits Servis

In Servis we always enjoy to be in touch with schools and Universities because young people have that special energy and spirit that we love!

It is always said that future belongs to the youngest generations, and it is true indeed, so what is best that being at their side to help them grow and open their minds to a whole new world, the world of dreams of Servis.

Yesterday some pupils from EIP ( Protocol International School ) came to visit our headquarters and attending a short conference about the world of events, trade shows and congresses conducted by one of our Project Managers, Joan Carles Caballol, and our “SoluciónÓptima” Director, Pablo González, both were pleased to share their morning with all the students.

We want to thank Carles Sanchez ( Teacher at EIP - Events Production ), EIP and all the students for their kindness and we look forward to seeing them again in our facilities!!

The Font Anna

Anna Vives, a young woman with Down Syndrome, has created her own typography font available to write in any word processor.

The aim of this initiative: #annatype, which also wants to represent the group of people with a disability is to disseminate and promote the values associated with the letters: social equality and the importance of teamwork connecting abilities.

For this socially marked section, Servis is committed with the Itinerarium Foundation for the use of the font “Anna Beta“.

The money from the sale of this font is intended for social projects of the foundation, specially for the “Projecte sumant capacitats” (“Adding Capabilities Project”).

The Itinerarium Foundation aims to “develop social projects that improve the scope and quality of educational and social processes”.

Itinerarium Foundation is dedicated to the training of students and teachers using ICT, promoting entrepreneurship, networking and ‘connecting abilities’. It also aims to create learning environments that enable us to effectively influence student motivation and interest in their own learning.

For that reason, Servis encourages you to participate in this cause.

As Gandhi said, “be the change that you want to see in the world”.

Happy Saint George!!

Today is a very special day in Catalonia. We celebrate “La Diada de Sant Jordi“, a day to be on the streets enjoying the great atmosphere that surrounds this amazing celebration.

The legend says that Saint George saved a princess from an evil dragon that was about to kill her, and from the dragon’s blood grew up a red rose, symbol of love.

For that reason it is traditional to give a rose and a book to a loved one, so being on the streets seeing thousands of people holding roses, kissing each other or just reading a book is simply wonderful. What is better than sharing your love or culture with all the people you love

Feliç Sant Jordi from all the Servis team!!!

Ibasis, soft and elegant

We started to talk to Valerie, from Ibasis, around October last year, so we could planned their stand with time enough to get the perfect image for them.

We needed to get some privacy for their meetings but Valerie did not want an enclosed space so we thought about placing a big column that allowed us to have a big room for their meetings but at the same time could be used as a small storage. The space was still partially opened, that way the whole space seemed a bit bigger than it really was.

We mixed their corporative colours in an elegant way so the whole booth had the Ibasis feeling, and I think we got it!!

Valerie was extremely kind with us so we are really looking forward to working with her next year again!!

Procera Networks, Red is the colour – Part II

It is said that second parts are never as good as the first ones, but as everything in life there are some exceptions.

The Godfather Part I and II comes quickly to my mind…which one is the best? Both of them were simply superb!!

We tried to get better every year and Procera stand was a challenge to prove that the second part could be even better than the first one!!

Diana and Cam let us try something absolutely different for this year’s edition, so our designer Ignasi was free to create something spectacular in the new space Procera had in Gran Via facilities (double size in comparison to last year’s booth).

Ignasi had a dream of a red boat sailing the seas…and that was the idea. We placed two big white sails coloured by powerful red lights from behind, with a large and clean red glas wall, which gave us a clean and sophisticated image. We placed the triangular demo station in the middle of the space, so Cam’s team could run their demos and presentations easily.

It was a pleasure to meet you in Barcelona Cam and Daniel! We also want to thank to Diana, it is always awesome working with you too!!

I wish you have a great year and hope to see you again in MWC 2014!!

I’m Watch, italian elegance

Our friends at I’m Watch came for the first time to MWC as exhibitors, and, as Julius Caesar said hundreds of years ago, they “veni, vidi, vinci..”.

Its stand was full of people amazed by the spectacular I’m Watch they were presenting. We were so proud of helping them to produce their stand, trying to reach the highest quality possible in every single detail.

The laminate wall where the I’m Watch and the smartphones were located was the true star of the space, catching the visitor’s attention from the very first moment. But we could not forget the red ball pointing the I’m Watch address or the glass showcase where the watch-jewels were kept.

Carlo and his team were fantastic, it was a “vero piacere” to meet you!! We are looking forward to create next year’s edition booth for you!!

EIT-ICT Labs, swedish style

Our business is about making real our client’s dreams, designing new concepts and producing them taking care of every single detail.

EIT-ICT Labs was a project we started to dream about several months before the show. Our designer Maria Jesus was in charge of creating something bright, simple, clean and attractive for our swedish friends.

She thought about having a big open space in the middle of the booth for having the meetings as well as some rest from the show, with a large bar counter where people could just stand and drinking something while talking with Johanna, Else, Laura and all the staff of EIT-ICT Labs.

In the outside area we decided to place all the demo counters where people could easily see all the demos runinng on several screens. Maria Jesus played with the purple circles from EIT-ICT Labs logo, so the whole design kept the spirit of our friends.

Johanna, Else, Laura and the guys were just amazing with us. Being able to know people like them is, by far distance, the best part of working on that business. We hope to see you again next year in MWC or wherever the life join us again.
